Talking with Him

Day in and day out, life comes and goes. In the grand scheme of it all, we sometimes get caught up and forget about God. Now before I continue, I know some of you may believe in God, Buddha, or the purple dinosaur in the sky, and I respect that.  All I ask is that you respect my beliefs too.

You see, I tend to have this bad habit of getting really into an activity or really excited about a milestone that might happen in life and I focus on that and get caught up in it. Then if it does not happen, I get let down. It's my own fault and it is something I am working on. It is then when I get that crappy feeling in your stomach from feeling let down, then after I pick myself up (whether it is through double stuff oreos, wine, or prayer, but seriously, double stuff oreos man) I remember that it is not about me or the event. It's all about Him. I then center myself and have a serious talk with God  and he likes to tell me "I told you so" in his nice way and remind me that I need to let him take the wheel.

I recently got reminded of that this past week. I am still recovering, but I am doing much better after having my "talk" with God, husband and close friends. As much as this road is going to be a road of ups and downs, I know that as long as I leave it up to "Him" it's going to be an amazing result at the end.

First Post!!!

So here it goes, one slow Monday afternoon is my first post!

So as stated in my about me section, I just love to be creative when I can, I think it's to help compensate my lack of drawing ability. All I can draw is a stick figure, even with a skirt!
See, what a artist! So I make up in photography, baking and I recently started getting back into sewing. So since I am currently not near my sewing machine and I didn't bake anything this weekend (I know, what a slacker is what your thinking, but give me credit, I am also trying to watch my weight!)

So one of my dearest sisters recently got married and I could not be happier for her. Even though we could not be there, I wanted to send her a little something to brighten up her apartment. So I then gave her a selection of three of my edited photos for me to print out for her. She requested something with blue in it since that was the color scheme of the apartment. Below are the options.

Which one do you think she chose? Which one is your favorite?
